Application systems for environments like these require extensive collaboration and discussion with the end user and an understanding of the environment in which the work is to take place.

 Consideration must be given to whether the entire area is available or whether the floor is to be refurbished in sections. This can only be done with participation by end-users, maintenance managers and production managers, who fully understand the scope of the work to be done.

The systems are very costly, since the materials used must have a short curing time and be accessible in very short order, not to mention the exposure to chemicals, acid, lye and heavy traffic. Products available are ceramic tiles or seamless resins which are accessible in 2 hours time fully cured!
